Citizens Exchange Bureau provides a free knowledge exchange service. Taking the form of a meeting or consultation, the Bureau is a discussion-based performance for one audience member at a time. Using a database of post-it notes, their memories and handwritten notes, Bureau advisers attempt to transmit and receive a growing bank of personal knowledges: histories, songs, anecdotes, instructions, dances, diagrams, wisdoms, recipes, guides, poems, discoveries, legends, stories and demonstrations.
